The Windows Task Manager, which comes up when you press Alt-Ctrl-Del, shows you a list of running processes. It lets you shut down a process or the entire machine. But it does NOT:

- give any information about what the process does
- show you which DLLs are associated with a process
- show you when the process was launched and what may have launched it
